In der US-amerikanischen Mockumentary-Serie „Welcome to Flatch“ folgt eine Dokumentar-Crew den beiden Cousins Kelly (Chelsea Holmes) und Shrub Mallet (Sam Straley) auf Schritt und Tritt, um anhand ihres Alltags die Sorgen und Nöte junger Erwachsener in Amerikas Kleinstädten zu thematisieren. So zeigt die Serie, wie Kelly und Shrub an ihren Träumen arbeiten, Hindernisse überwinden – oder wie wild um Pizza streiten. Die beiden haben nicht viel, aber einander.
